20 January 2006 Last Season for 7th Heaven The WB network has announced that it is canceling 7th Heaven after a successful 10 year run. Aaron Spelling was quoted as saying, "7TH HEAVEN is as dear to my heart as any series I have ever produced. Unfortunately, the series ends because of the pocketbook, not the heart. Actor salaries are forcing the network to drop the show after taking a $16 million loss on the series last year. We know networks have to make a profit and actors have to eat, but we will really miss this great old standby.
